I'm Popular (on the Internet.)

Since getting involved with Flickr, Blogger, Facebook, JPG, etc., I find that I have many more e-friends that actual living, breathing friends. (Sure, they are living, breathing people, I have just never met them in real life.)

I often find myself talking about them based on what I have seen in their pictures on Flickr or their blog posts. My husband thinks I am a total nut.

We were out a few weeks ago for the annual St. Patrick's Day parade. I turned toward the sidewalk and exclaimed: "Hey, I know that guy!"

"Really? How? Why don't you go say 'Hello' to him?" my husband responds.

"From the internet. He's my e-friend from Flickr." I respond. "I can't just go up and talk to him. He will think I am a psycho. We only exist together on the internet, not in the real world. I would like to leave it that way."

My husband looks at me as if I am a lunatic. "That's weird." he says.

I just shrug, content to be appreciated and liked, if only in my e-world.
